Children’s Liturgy
Our Children’s Liturgy Programme is a wonderful way for your child to have a meaningful experience at Mass at their own level.
Kinder and primary school aged children are invited to participate each Sunday at the 9.30 am Mass.
The children are divided into two groups.  The younger group is for children in pre-School to Year 1 and the older group is for children in Years 2 to 6.
The younger group meets in the chapel and the older group in ‘The Meeting Place’.  They are instructed in the gospel of the day at a level they can readily understand and participate in an age-appropriate activity.  The children love this special time of instruction and the activity which supports their lesson.  After the lesson they return to the church where they share what they have learnt with the rest of the congregation.  They then join their families in time to participate in the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Volunteer catechists enthusiastically support this initiative.
