Becoming a Catholic

Adults who wish to discover more about the Catholic faith with a view to becoming full sacramental members of the church, are encouraged to participate in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults).

The RCIA process is offered each year, commencing in September and concluding in May.  A team of dedicated parishioners support this initiative which includes evening meetings, Sunday catechesis and special celebrations at St Patrick’s Cathedral.  The program culminates with a joyous welcome into the church when the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation) are received.

If you are interested in deepening your spirituality and yearning to belong to a vibrant faith community, please contact Mary Ann Payne via the Parish Office on 0473 873 479.
